Where did I express myself the most in my high school and uni years? DeviantArt

There have been lots of things - memorable and forgettable - that I have done here in DA. This is where I poured my words and ideas - however immature they were - before even the advent of Friendster, Facebook, LINE, Instagram and YouTube. I still feel guilt for the past users in this platform for being irrational and unable to control my own words and thoughts. I was a kid back then who happened to be slow to understand so many things in life and I felt terrible about myself back then.

But after years reading countless books, having great experiences (Lived in the Philippines, Canada and now Japan), and shaping my mind to care more about others and support them spiritually and morally yet also giving them all the opportunity to freely execute what they want to do or express what they want to say, I only hope I have finally become a better person as I come back to DA to walk along memory lane where I left my younger self... to see the great things and as well as all the crap I was spouting, and to see the way I changed through the years.

I won't be telling those stories in the past that I have finally moved away from.

But this is my only chance to express my sincere apologies to those people who saw me in my most detestable and revolting presence or being, since I rarely use DA these days and although I still like drawing comics, my passion at the moment is in language education and board games.

Whoever remembers me here in DA, I hope all of you are well. And if you encountered me from when I first came here more than a decade ago by another username, thanks for following me and appreciating what my contributions are on this site. But I'm also deeply sorry and I assure you that as a 34 year old guy, I have changed for the better.

I won't be updating this account of mine since I mostly spend my time with other social networking sites.
Thanks for your time if you did read this! Much appreciated!

My bedroom is filled with books placed on 3 bookcases...
Lately, I just couldn't grab a book and devour it to make my day productive.

The biggest culprit? My Desktop Computer...

I love the Probe Team and right now, it's resting its regular show to present their TV special called "Probe Profiles" where Cheche Lazaro interviews some of the most influential and controversial people in the Philippines. We all know Cheche Lazaro and the Probe Team do a really good job when it comes to investigative journalism in the country ever since the late-80s after the end of the Marcos dictatorship staying in 3 stations for more than 20 years now.

As for the show "Probe Profiles", the episode with Efren 'Bata' Reyes is possibly the best of all the ones Cheche covered in the show so far. I learned how humility and great demeanor were able to make the Magician as one of the coolest and nicest guys to play pool. And it's true that Reyes do much better than the People's Champ, Manny Pacquiao when it comes to this aspect. I still give credit though to Pacquiao who is a determined athlete - he's probably one of the only few boxers I know who studies as a sideline and who studies hard - and someone who is religiously devout and nationalistic.

To those who are interested about the life of Efren 'Bata' Reyes - primarily Tagalog speakers, since the show is mostly in Tagalog - here's the link to all the episodes of Probe Profiles with the Magician. probetv.com/search.php?s_req=e…

Cheers! :D

Writing?

1 min read
Do you consider writing as your hobby?
Wanna make your works look like pages of a book that you'd like to publish? :D

Go to your favourite word processor, change the font to Garamond, turn the size of the paper to A5 and fix your margins. If the best thing that can happen to your works is to have them published, why not see how they look like before you even consider getting a publisher or submitting it to your favourite literary magazine like RD, Brick or Granta? Or if you're not thinking about that, why not try doing this if you got bored on the usual interface you see on your word processor?

Cheers! :D
